A plugin is available to display a publication page (for an author, a research organization, and an ANR or EU project, a collection) in WordPress :
- by adding a widget to display the latest publications, or
- by a creating a WordPress page.
Note : Authors must have an IdHAL to be able to display an individual author page.
The users of the Hypotheses.org platform need not install this plugin.

Add this plugin into WordPress
In WordPress, go to the Extensions/add menu. Type « HAL » in the search entry field, and then click on Install now :
Next, click on Activate extension :
Displaying the latest publications in a widget
To display a widget listing the latest publications, go to the Appearance menu//Widget in WordPress and drag and drop the “Latest Publications” widget in the desired page area :
Choose a title for your widget from the drop-down menu, select the option you want and type the identifier corresponding to that option :
- IdHAL : type the author’s IdHAL.
- Struct id : type the research organization’s identifier from the organization reference listing. Look up for the AURéHAL .

- anrProject id : this is the identifier of an ANR project in the project reference listing. Look up in AURéHAL to get this identifier (it will display in the left-hand ind column, see the above screenshot).
- europeanProject id : europeanProject id: this is the identifier of an EU project in the project reference listing. Look up in AURéHAL to get this identifier (it will display in the left-hand ind column , see the above screenshot).
- collection : this is a collection‘s identifier.
The widget will display the latest publication deposits, as a WordPress theme for this page.
Creating a WordPress page
To create a page in WordPress, go to the HAL extension parameter to choose the elements to be displayed in this page :
ID type : select one of the following options in the drop-down menu :
- IdHAL : type the author’s IdHAL.
- Struct id : type the research organization’s identifier from the organization reference listing. Look up for the AURéHAL.
- anrProject id : anrProject id: this is the identifier of an ANR project in the project reference listing. Look up in AURéHAL to get this identifier (it will display in the left-hand ind column).
- europeanProject id : this is the identifier of an EU project in the project reference listing. Look up in AURéHAL to get this identifier (it will display in the left-hand ind column).
- collection : this is a collection‘s identifier.
Document display : you can set how the publications will be displayed :

Select menu items : the page includes a “metadata” menu, in order to display either the Contact details from the settings, or the metadata from the publications :
The user can choose to display documents ordered either alphabetically or case by case.
Contact : type the required items. To have these details displayed in the page, check the “Contact” box for the Menu item selection settings.
Once the settings have been saved, go into the WordPress Page/add menu to create the page. Type a title for the page and in the body of the [cv-hal] page.
[cv-hal] will display the information you selected in the page settings. The page may contain other elements than [cv-hal], like text, illustrations, etc.
